Pilates
I. Pilates is the best way to improve our body position and be fit. It was created by Joseph H. Pilates.
II. Benefits.
A. It provides us vitality and strength.
B. Flexibily and agility are achieved.
C. Back´s pain reduction.
III. Two types: pilates with machines and floor pilates.
A. Pilates with machines. There are several ones used for the exercises.
1. Cadillac: it is a kind of bed with a metallic structure on its top.
2. Reformer: similar to the cadillac, however, it has different functions.
3. Chairs: the look like benchs.
4. Pilates barrel: it is used for correction out body position.
B. Floor pilates.
1. It is harder because you have to use more your body and you have to know your own limitations.
2. Suplementary accesories are required, such as balls and weights.
IV. Because of the huge amount of benefits provided by pilates, it is something worthwile. Furthermore, you can choose the one you like the most as there are two types.
